Indoor Extreme Sports
Indoor Extreme Sports is a huge athletic facility in Long Island City. They offer three different types of laser tag among plenty of other adrenaline-pumping indoor activities. Flushing Meadows-Corona Park
Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, often referred to as just Flushing Meadows, is the fourth largest park in New York City. Sightseers will be familiar with the Unisphere, the steel globe that was built for the World’s Fair in 1964.
Gantry Plaza State Park
Gantry Plaza State Park runs right along the East River, so it boasts brilliant views of Manhattan. The park is built around gantries, which are bridge-like overhead structures that support cranes, that were once used to load and unload barges. Those same gantries, now restored, are now used as a monument to the past of this wonderful waterfront location. There are also manicured gardens, basketball courts, playgrounds and a fishing pier located in the park, snagging it a spot on our list of fun things to do in Queens.
