By now, most people know that the day before this harvest holiday is one of the biggest nightlife days of the year. Since everyone is home to visit family, they often decide to stop by watering holes in their area. If you’re looking to get in on the action, here are some New York bars to check out.

If you’re craving Cajun fare and an all-around good time this Thanksgiving Eve, come down and visit Bourbon Street in Bayside to satisfy those cravings. Luckily, they will be hosting their annual extravaganza on the evening of November 21.

Besides typical Cajun eats like jambalaya and gumbo, this bar also has a wide selection of beers, wines and specialty cocktails. Best of all, the rooftop features a New Orleans-style balcony to help take your celebration to the next level.

If you’re searching for somewhere to spend Thanksgiving Eve, look no further than Park Place in Floral Park. In fact, their modern décor, innovative cuisine and welcoming staff has the entire community singing its praises.

Believe it or not, it will also be Single Malt Wednesdays at Park Place. This means that every one of their scotches is discounted, including Balvenie 21, Johnny Walker Blue Label and Macallan 25. Come visit and see what else this New York bar has to offer.

Austin’s Ale House

Head out to Kew Gardens on Thanksgiving Eve for drinks and excitement at Austin’s Ale House. With a classic pub décor, 20 tap beers and over 40 bottled beers, where else would you want to spend your evening?

Luckily, this bar also has an excellent Wednesday night bar special. Besides 35 cent wings and $5 whiskeys, you can receive half-priced bottles of wine with an entrée purchase. You can even win prizes at Trivia Night, which starts at 7:30 p.m.

Brews Brothers Grille

This Thanksgiving Eve, visit Brews Brothers Grille in Franklin Square, where the beer is always cold. This New York bar has over 50 different craft beers, as well as $5 mixed drinks, draft beers and wine glasses on Wednesdays from 7 to 11 p.m.

If you happen to work up an appetite, make sure to try their famous half-pound burgers and award-winning wings. They come in delicious flavors like Buffalo, Honey BBQ, Teriyaki, Sweet and Spicy Chili, Garlic Parmesan, Cajun and, the weirdest of the bunch, Peanut Butter and Jelly. There’s also a location in Huntington if you find yourself in the area.
