Whether you’re looking to visit for a day trip or an all-weekend affair, this hip, on-the-rise city has more than enough excitement to keep you interested.

What to Do

Many tourists enjoy Dia:Beacon, a modern art museum located in a former Nabisco box printing factory on the banks of the Hudson. Also, make sure to stop in Beacon’s charming boutiques like Reservoir & Wood, Kordal and Clay Wood & Cotton for one-of-a-kind treasures.

The Berkshires, MA

The Berkshires, located in the mountains and hills of western Massachusetts, is New England’s premier vacation destination. Made up of over 30 charming towns, there’s more than enough arts, culture, history and culinary hotspots to explore.

During the winter, visitors usually travel to the Berkshires to ski, snowboard and snowshoe—but, in the summer, rafting, kayaking, fishing and golf are extremely popular as well. You can also spend the day at local cultural attractions like Mass MoCA, An American Craftsman and the Norman Rockwell Museum.
