Tasty Thanksgiving Restaurants for You and Your Family
Plattduetsche Park Restaurant
Head over to Franklin Square this November 24th and enjoy your Thanksgiving meal at Plattdeutsche Park Restaurant. From noon to 5 p.m., they’ll be accepting reservations for their annual holiday feast.
For starters, they’ll be serving favorite dishes like butternut squash, shrimp cocktail and smoked trout. In addition to their oven-roasted turkey breast and the customary thanksgiving sides, their entrees will feature German delicacies like braised beef roulade, carved chateaubriand and potato-crusted cod filet. If you’re looking for something different on Thanksgiving, this German eatery should do the trick.
Polo Steakhouse at the Garden City Hotel
Located in the magnificent Garden City Hotel, the upscale Polo Steakhouse has quickly become one of the area’s most popular bistros. This Thanksgiving, they’ll be hosting a giant banquet with a turkey special and all the usual fixings. It typically gets crowded early, so it’s wise to make a reservation ahead of time. The dinner will begin at 7 p.m., with rolling reservations throughout the rest of the evening.
Bayside’s Vivaldi has simplified Thanksgiving dinner. This year, they’ve given you two options to celebrate. You can either attend the buffet on the upper level or the a la carte dinner in the main dining room.
The buffet will have three seatings at noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. This three course meal will highlight all of the typical American Thanksgiving fare like turkey, potatoes, ham and dessert. The meal costs $52 for adults and $26 for children ages 5-12.
The a la carte meal will take place from noon to 7 p.m. The menu has been specially curated by their head executive chef and will showcase unique dishes like:
- Lobster Salad Martini
- Pumpkin Ravioli
- Certfied Black Angus Filet Mignon
- Snapper Aqua Pazza
Space is limited, so make a reservation as soon as possible. You’re not going to want to miss a menu like this.
For years, Crabtree’s Restaurant has been a Floral Park institution and one of the area’s best Thanksgiving restaurants. For $35 a person, you can enjoy a wide-ranging menu that includes:
